While reading The Psychology of Money, I came across an interesting idea…
“In a world where intelligence is hyper-competitive and many previous technical skills have become automated, competitive advantages tilt toward nuanced and soft skills – like communication, empathy, and perhaps most of all, flexibility.”
You know I can’t help but apply this to the data world.
Half of the data folks on LinkedIn already talk about communication/empathy. But few touch on the topic of flexibility.
And if you ask me...
When it comes to being a data analyst, I think flexibility is a powerful soft skill. It helps you stay relevant and up-to-date in our fast-moving world.
How do you feel about flexibility in the dorky world of data?
